Get Job Items
From the Resources menu, select Job Items.
Then click on the Get Products/Services From QuickBooks link.
If you are not connected to QuickBooks, you will see this form.
If you see this form:
- Close the form
- Go to the Integration menu and select QuickBooks Connection.
- Follow instructions on that form.
If you are connected to QuickBooks, you will see this form:
Click on the GetJob Items button.
There are several line item types in QuickBooks that are not used in Brewery Routing. It is normal that these are skipped.
Click the Close button and the list of Job Items will be show on the screen.
Update Job Items
Vehicles are filled by weight. Since the weight of each product is not maintained QuickBooks, the weight of each product must be entered at this time.
For each Job Item shown in the list, click the Edit link
If the type of product is found in the Standard Type list, select it and then enter the delivery time.
If the product is not found in the list, leave the selection as Custom, and enter the weight.
Update the time needed to deliver this product.
BreweryRouting computes the stop time from the Job default stop time plus the time for each item delivered.
Run Job Item List Report
Click the Report button on the top of the screen.
Click on the Run link.
The Run Report ‘Job Item List’ form will be displayed. Click the OK button.
Click the Download button to save the vehicle list. This will be sent to the Brewery Routing support team later.
