Brewery Routing uses plans to identify which vehicle (and workers) are scheduled for each day in a week.
In the simplest case, the same vehicles operate every day of the week. But not all vehicles are used every day of the week and there is usually one day of the week where no vehicles are used at all.
Since specifying the vehicles to be used each day of the week would be an extra planning step, template plans are used to specify which vehicles are used on any given day of the week.
During the first time setup, one template plan is created. If different templates are needed for special dates, like holiday weekends, they can be created later.
Before route planning starts each day, a new daily plan is created from the template plan for that day of the week. This daily plan may be modified if vehicles and workers are not to be used, or if other vehicles not normally used are to be used on that date.
To create or change a template plan, from the Plans menu, click on Template Plans.
By default, a template plan, Daily, is created which is run every day.
If your vehicles are not used on all seven days of the week, click on the Edit link.
Uncheck the boxes for the dates when your vehicles do not operate.
Then click the OK button.
To specify which vehicles and workers are used on each day of the template plan, click the Trips link.

If you need more than one template plan when a different set of vehicles and workers are used on different days of the week, additional template plan must be created.
On any given day of the week, only one template plan may be marked as Default.
Create a New Template Plan
Before creating a new plan, if there is already a template plan marked as Default for the same days as the new template plan to be created, edit that plan first and uncheck the days that will be used in the new template plan.
